Imagination, creativity and the need to know “why?” are things that live within all children. At Hyphen Photography, Inc.,
I bring that same inquisitiveness to the creative process. I’ll help you define your story, create a roadmap for the assets you need based upon your marketing and events calendar, and create compelling, emotion-driven photography to promote your products, services or experiences. We will discuss all the different assets you'll need to present a holistic representation of your brand. This may include photography of the staff and/or leadership teams, the product, service or experience being enjoyed by children and families and play-spaces without little ones. If you are promoting a product, we will include images of the product(s) on their own too! What makes me as a photographer unique, is the 10+ years of communications, marketing, and design expertise brings to the work.
Together, our goal is to create visual assets that will ensure you stand out from the competition, build awareness and credibility, and grow your brand.
DISCOVERY
The collaboration process begins with a relaxed conversation to identify your goals and gain clarity around the strategy needed to reach them. Set up a time for a free 30 minute introductory call!
STORY + STRATEGY
Building upon your concept, we’ll outline the story you want to tell and how photography will support that goal. Our sessions are relaxed and in the moment because we’ve mapped out the perfect story and strategy for you.
CREATION
It’s time to play! I’ll show up fully-prepared to capture the magic moments, whether they are on-stage, in the studio, on location, or behind-the-scenes. Oh, and did I mention, our shoots are stress free and always fun!
DELIVERY
I know what it’s like to run a busy art department, so we’re meticulous about delivering organized and labeled files you can easily utilize in the the creation of your upcoming campaigns, launches, and promotions.

I love the work and I truly enjoy meeting people like you, who are so generous in sharing your stories, your family and your smiles with me. But before we get started, here are some basic ground rules when it comes to booking a photography session:
“There’s No Crying in Photography”
Actually, there is sometimes. With kids, or traffic, or life happening, we may find ourselves beginning a session with a mix of emotions. That’s okay. Our goal will be to make you smile, ease any possible tension and make sure you walk away feeling great about yourself and how you look!
“No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service”
Hm, this isn’t totally true either… Want to kick off those shoes and run into the surf or feel the grass between your toes? Go for it! We’ll be there right alongside you, getting down on the ground, jumping up high or basically doing whatever it takes to get a great shot. You should feel relaxed and free to do whatever feels natural for you and we’ll make sure to capture it.
“Say Cheese”
Okay, you know what? All of these rules are bogus. We pride ourselves in getting close enough to capture the candid intimacy of your family without getting in the way of a good time. We’re happy to follow your lead and gently encourage you when we see something great. Let us capture all those moments you can’t.
